Life at LPI

Academics

At Lydia we strive for success in academics and use a strict grading scale; A=100-93, B=92-85, C=84-76, D=75-70, anything below 70 does not earn credit or constitute a passing grade. For those in pursuit of maintaining their grades, but are struggling we offer various tutoring opportunities to assist them. Our goal is to provide our students with the necessary skills and ethics to exceed expectations, no matter the difficulties presented. Lydia Patterson isn’t just a school it's a family and a way of life.

Technology

Students at LPI will find themselves within a very unique classroom setting, as we are an almost entirely digital campus. Lectures will be taught on Smartboards or Promethean Boards, also we do not issue textbooks, instead students will be issued eBooks and will have access to Tablets and Ipads within every class. Students here at LPI will have access to three different computer labs; with computers that are Windows based, as well as Linux based systems. Our goal is to maintain being on the cutting edge of new technology and digital based regimens for education, therefore we employ a variety of online programs and utilize the Schoology LMS.

Programs

We are a very diverse campus that offers a multitude of paths and programs to expand the minds of our students. We feature programs such as; Robotics, Newspaper, Orchestra, Chess Team, Yearbook, Student Council, Worship Team, National Honor Society, and National Junior Honor Society. We want to allot our students every potential opportunity to pursue subjects and programs that might interest them.
